Dear Backcountry Permit Applicant: Please be aware that the formatting for the permit itinerary is poor. This is the result of an old DOS permit program being copied into a Windows format. The itinerary confirms reservation of the campsites listed. Some of the sites listed may indicate that they are full. They are only full because your reservation makes them full. The last day on the permit is an exit point. It is not a campground and it can be changed when you get to the park should you decide to exit at a different point. Please pay particular attention to dates on the itinerary as they may vary based upon earliest/latest dates you indicated on your application. We are pleased to inform you that we were able to confirm your request for the following itinerary: · First Choice: __x____ · Second choice: ______ · Alternate itinerary (minor changes as noted on your application): __x____ · Alternate itinerary (completely different itinerary for the dates you have listed: ______ Please review the following instructions carefully. 1.
